Digital MSME Scheme

The Digital MSME Scheme is run by the Office of the Development Commissioner and was re‐notified in the revised guidelines document for 2019-20. It is available on a pan-India basis for registered MSMEs. The purpose of the scheme is to empower micro, small and medium enterprises by facilitating adoption of Information & Communication Technology tools and applications in their production, business and operational processes thereby enhancing competitiveness in domestic and international markets. The benefit to you as an MSME is that you can receive financial support or subsidy for digital technology adoption, which can reduce costs, improve productivity and open up new market opportunities.

Who Can Apply:
- All registered Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises under Udyam/Udyog Aadhaar.
- Enterprises engaged in manufacturing or service sectors using ICT for business improvement.
- MSME clusters, industrial associations, or SPVs nominated by the state or central MSME offices.
Who Cannot Apply:
- Unregistered businesses or enterprises not classified as MSMEs.
- Units already availing identical benefits under another digital adoption programme.
- Traders not engaged in manufacturing or service-related activities.

- Proof of business operation

- Self-declaration form on MSME status and utilization of subsidy

Option 2: Apply via Official MSME Portal
- Visit the official MSME website → Navigate to “Digital MSME Scheme.”
- Register or log in using Udyam credentials.
- Select the desired digital service provider or cluster.
- Upload your application form with project and financial details.
- Submit documents and await verification by the Implementing Agency .
Option 3: Through Nodal Implementing Agency / Cluster
- Approach your regional MSME Development Institute or District Industries Centre.
- Attend an awareness workshop or digital training under the scheme.
- Apply through your cluster association or SPV under the approved Digital MSME pilot.
- Subsidy claims are processed collectively by the nodal agency.
