Aatmanirbhar Gujarat Scheme for assistance to MSMEs: Assistance for Reimbursement of CGTMSE Fees

The scheme was launched under the State’s “Aatmanirbhar Gujarat Schemes 2022” initiative. The purpose of this component is to encourage MSMEs to avail collateral-free term-loans under CGTMSE, by reimbursing the annual service fees charged by banks/financial institutions under that guarantee scheme. Key Features
- 100% reimbursement of annual service fees – The scheme reimburses 100 % of the annual service fees paid to banks/financial institutions for collateral-free term-loans under CGTMSE, for up to five years.
- Applies only for collateral-free term-loans under CGTMSE – Only those MSMEs which have taken a term loan backed by CGTMSE guarantee (and paid the annual service fee) will be eligible.
- Application within stipulated time-frame – You must submit your application within one year from the first disbursement of the loan or before the date of commencement of commercial production, whichever is later.
- Exclusion of certain activity types – The scheme excludes enterprises in trading or purely service activities for this component.

Who Can Apply
- A registered Micro or Small Enterprise (MSE) in Gujarat that has taken a collateral-free term loan under CGTMSE.
- The first disbursement of the term loan must have happened, and the enterprise must apply within one year from the date of first disbursement or before commencement of commercial production (whichever is later).
- Service fees must have been paid to the bank/financial institution under CGTMSE tenure.
Who Cannot Apply
- Enterprises engaged purely in trading or services are explicitly excluded under this component.
- Units that did not take a CGTMSE-backed collateral free loan are not eligible.
- Applications submitted after the stipulated timeframe (one year) may be ineligible.
Documents Required
- Udyam/MSME registration certificate of the enterprise.
- Term loan sanction letter and first disbursement certificate from bank.
- Evidence of CGTMSE guarantee/cover for the loan.
- Copy of annual service fee paid to the bank/financial institution under CGTMSE (first year & subsequent).
- Declaration/undertaking that the enterprise is not trading/service only and eligible under scheme.

Option 2: Government Online Application
- Visit the official portal for “Aatmanirbhar Gujarat Scheme for Assistance to MSMEs” via the Industries & Mines Department, Gujarat.
- Register / login and navigate to the component “Assistance for Reimbursement of CGTMSE Fees”.
- Fill the online application form, upload required documents (see next section) and submit within the eligible period.
- After verification, the reimbursement will be sanctioned and disbursed to the unit’s bank account.
Option 3: Through District Industries Centre (DIC)
- Visit the concerned DIC with your loan and CGTMSE details.
- Submit the application along with documents via DIC, which forwards to the state nodal agency for sanction.
- Follow up via DIC until disbursement is effected.
