- Reimbursement of cost for diagnostic study and rehabilitation plan – The scheme reimburses a portion (50%) of the cost incurred for preparing diagnostic study and rehabilitation plan by recognised expert/agency.
- Fixed maximum assistance amount per unit – The maximum assistance under this component is ₹ 1 lakh per enterprise.
- Applies only to MSMEs classified as sick industrial enterprise – The unit must qualify as a sick unit per standard criteria and be an MSME.
- Operative during defined period – This component is available only during the validity period of the overall scheme.
- Online application process via state portal – Applications can be submitted via the state’s investor facilitation portal pursuant to scheme guidelines.

Eligibility Criteria
Who Can Apply:
- An enterprise registered as MSME in Gujarat which meets the criteria of being “sick” as per recognised definitions .
- The enterprise must be in the manufacturing or eligible service sector .
Who Cannot Apply:
- Units not registered in Gujarat or outside the MSME definition under the scheme.
- Enterprises already closed permanently or where revival is not feasible.
- Firms that have already availed similar state revival assistance for the same project component.
Documents Required
- Udyam / MSME registration certificate of the enterprise.
- Statement of accounts showing financial distress.
- Diagnostic report or draft rehabilitation scheme by an expert/agency.
- Claim form for reimbursement of report cost under the scheme.
- Bank account details for disbursement.
- Any other documents as specified in the scheme notification.
