Andhra Pradesh Renewable Energy Export Policy, 2020 is a Government of Andhra Pradesh policy implemented through the Energy (Power) Department, notified via G.O.Ms.No.20 dated 17 July 2020, and valid for a period of 5 years from the date of issuance.
The policy aims to promote large-scale renewable energy projects (solar, wind, and hybrid) for export of power outside the state by facilitating land, infrastructure, and regulatory support. Eligibility Criteria
- Must be a registered company (private or public sector)
- Must develop solar, wind, or hybrid renewable energy project
- Project must be for export of power outside Andhra Pradesh
- Must apply through Nodal Agency (NREDCAP)
Additional conditions:
- Land to be obtained through land aggregating agency
- Compliance with Electricity Act, 2003 required
