AP - IT & Global Capability Centers (GCC) Policy (4.0)
Andhra Pradesh IT & Global Capability Centers (GCC) Policy (4.0) 2024-29 is a Government of Andhra Pradesh policy implemented through the Information Technology, Electronics & Communications (ITE&C) Department, notified on 12 December 2024, and valid for a period of 5 years.
The policy aims to build a strong knowledge economy by promoting IT companies and Global Capability Centers (GCCs), enabling hybrid work models, creating large-scale employment, and strengthening digital infrastructure. For you as an MSME or startup, this policy provides access to co-working spaces, incentives for hiring, rental subsidies, and ecosystem support to scale IT/ITeS operations.

Eligibility Criteria
- Applicable to IT/ITeS companies and GCCs
- Minimum eligibility for firms: Turnover ≥ ₹30 crore OR at least 50 employees
- Applicable to new and expansion projects
- For developers: Must meet minimum space or seating requirements
- Employment condition: Employees must be retained for minimum period (generally 18 months)
Additional conditions:
- Must operate within Andhra Pradesh
- Must comply with policy guidelines
Non-eligibility conditions:
- Non-IT businesses
- Units not meeting workforce or infrastructure criteria
