Common Environment Infrastructure

Up to 40% of the eligible fixed capital investment (FCI) for projects like new CETP, pipelines etc; for some Govt/PSU projects up to 80%. Maximum ceiling ~ ₹ 50 crore

Example: A cluster proposes to install a new CETP costing ₹ 20 crore (eligible FCI). Under the scheme, if 40% assistance applies, state support = ₹ 8 crore. If project promoted by Govt agency, maybe up to 80% = ₹ 16 crore.

Common Boiler Project (for MSME clusters)

For SPV of minimum 10 MSMEs using steam: assistance e.g., 35% of cost (max ₹ 2 crore) if solid fuel used; 50% (max ₹ 2 crore) if cleaner fuel used. 

Example: A SPV of 12 MSMEs sets up common boiler using CNG costing ₹ 3 crore. Under scheme, assistance = 50% of ₹ 3 crore = ₹ 1.5 crore (subject to max ₹ 2 crore).

Regulatory / Monitoring Infrastructure

Need-based support for pilot projects, ambient monitoring infrastructure etc. Max assistance up to ₹ 50 lakh (or as decided by SLEC). 

Example: An association sets up ambient air monitoring network costing ₹ 70 lakh; state may give support of up to ₹ 50 lakh under this sub‐scheme.

Option 2: Apply via Government Portal

  1. Visit the Industries Commissionerate Gujarat or MSME Incentive Portal
  2. Download the scheme application form for “Assistance for Common Environmental Infrastructure.”
  3. Prepare the Detailed Project Report (DPR) including cost, environmental impact, and layout.
  4. Obtain necessary clearances (GPCB approval, site NOC, etc.).
  5. Submit the completed application to the Industries Commissionerate or GIDC Office for evaluation.
  6. On approval, execute the project and claim subsidy after inspection and verification.

Option 3: Through District Industries Centre (DIC)

  1. Approach your local DIC for eligibility screening.
  2. Get assistance with documentation and application forwarding to the state-level committee.
  3. Track project progress and disbursement schedule through DIC or CED (Centre for Entrepreneurship Development).
