Banglashree for MSMEs - Subsidy for Energy Efficiency (EES) is a Government of West Bengal incentive under the Department of Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises and Textiles, notified on 22 July 2020, and effective from 1 April 2020 to 31 March 2025.
The scheme aims to promote adoption of energy-efficient technologies in MSMEs by providing financial assistance for energy audits and installation of energy-saving equipment. For you as an MSME, this incentive helps reduce energy costs, improve productivity, and enhance sustainability of operations.

Eligibility Criteria
- Must be a Micro, Small or Medium Enterprise (manufacturing sector)
- Must be located in West Bengal
- Must have Udyam / Udyog Aadhaar Registration
- Must conduct energy audit through certified agency
- Must implement energy efficiency measures based on audit
Additional conditions:
- Project must be approved under Banglashree scheme
- Proper documentation of expenditure required

- Non-manufacturing enterprises
- Projects without energy audit
