Training Programme 

Training cost borne under scheme

Example: You attend 5 days beekeeping training at a recognised institute; the scheme covers the training fee  and you gain certification. 

Bee-boxes + Live Bee Colonies + Tool-kit

Set of 10 bee-boxes with colonies + tool-kit for each beneficiary

Example: After training you receive 10 bee-boxes each with live bee colonies and a tool-kit  under the scheme, enabling you to start beekeeping operations. 

Beneficiary Contribution

Small contribution 

Example: You as SC/ST beneficiary may contribute say 10 % of cost while general category contributes 20 % .

Application Process for the Scheme

Option 1: Apply with Bullit

Option 2: Government / KVIC Process

  1. Watch for advertisement by your State/Divisional Director of KVIC  inviting applications for Beekeeping Activity under GVY. 
  2. Attend awareness/identification camp , and obtain application form  from the KVIC state/regional office.
  3. Submit the filled application form along with the required documents to the designated KVIC field office / state office.
  4. Once selected, attend the scheduled training (5–10 days) and after training, equipment / bee boxes will be provided.
  5. After receipt of equipment, start beekeeping operations, adhere to monitoring / hand-holding support as per guidelines.
