Food Processing and Value Addition Management is a Government of Uttarakhand initiative implemented through the Department of Industries (via District Industries Centres – DICs) under the MSME Policy framework. The scheme focuses on promoting food processing units and value addition activities to enhance the income potential of agricultural produce in the state.

The primary objective is to encourage entrepreneurs to convert raw agricultural produce into processed and market-ready products, thereby reducing wastage and increasing profitability.
