It helps MSME with IPR issues and it also sets up Intellectual Property Facilitation Centres (IPFCs) across Bharat to guide MSME.

Assistance provided
Intellectual Property Facilitation Centres (IPFC)
To help IPFC with their work a grant of up to Rs 1 crore will be provided on milestone basis
IPFC will be actin as Implementing agencies (IA) there period will be for 3 years and they can renew after that
Reimbursement of registration fee for IPR through IPFC
For Domestic patent 100% cost reimbursed (subject to max up to Rs 1 lakh)
For Foreign patent 100% cost reimbursed (subject to max up to Rs 5 lakhs)
For GI registration 100% cost reimbursed (subject to max up to 2 lakhs)
For Design registration 100% cost reimbursed (subject to max up to Rs 15,000)
For Trademark registration 100% cost reimbursed (subject to max up to Rs 10,000)
It is a 1 time support from Govt. It does not cover cost of of renewal or correction or updation in application of IPR.

You are a registered MSME unit and have Udyam
You seek to file or protect patents, trademarks, designs, or geographical indications.
You want to participate in IPR training
You seek advisory & consultation services
You are not eligible if:
You do not have a valid MSME registration.
You are not looking for help with IPR issues
