Subsidy for processing machineries / CFC

Grant/subsidy for coir machinery and processing infrastructure 

Example: If you install coir-fibre extraction machinery costing ₹10 lakh, the policy may reimburse a portion (say 30-40 %) of the cost under the subsidy. (Exact % to be checked in policy document)

Exhibition participation subsidy

For units to participate in domestic & international exhibitions: e.g., 75% rent waiver for domestic stalls (max ₹50,000), subsidy up to ₹3 lakh for international exhibition.

Example: You spend ₹2 lakh on an international coir-products exhibition; you may get up to ₹3 lakh subsidy (thus full) under policy.

Training & entrepreneurship subsidy

Support for skill-training, entrepreneurship in coir sector across thousands of trainees.

Example: Your unit sponsors training of 20 workers in coir-yarn making; the training cost may be partly subsidised under the policy.

Option 1: Apply with Bullit (Recommended)

Option 2: Government Process

  1. Register your coir manufacturing/processing unit under the relevant state nodal body (MSSIDC / DIC).
  2. Prepare detailed project report covering fixed capital investment, production capacity, employment, husk supply linkages.
  3. Submit the application form along with required documents to the nodal agency as per the policy notification.
  4. After approval, implement the project, and claim subsidy/incentive as per the policy guidelines.

Option 3: Offline Submission

If online portal is not available, submit hard copy of application and attachments at the District Industries Centre or MSSIDC office as per local jurisdiction, and track project status through the nodal body.
