Trainee stipend paid by enterprise

Example: Your unit trains 2 youth for 6 months. You pay each ₹5,000 per month → total cost ₹60,000 (2×6×5,000).

Reimbursement by government

Government reimburses part (e.g., ₹2,000/month per trainee for 6 months)

Example: For each of the 2 trainees, reimbursement = ₹2,000×6 months = ₹12,000 each, total ₹24,000 reimbursed by government.

Application Process for the Scheme

Option 1: Apply with Bullit (Recommended)

Option 2: Government Portal / Online Application

  1. Visit the official Tamil Nadu MSME scheme portal or the M-TIPB page listing the “Skill Training & Employment Scheme”. 
  2. MSME unit logs in or registers with the portal (if required) and selects the scheme application.
  3. Provide details of the unit, proposed number of trainees, training schedule and stipend budget.
  4. Upload requisite documents (MSME registration, unit details, training plan, youth candidature list, etc).
  5. Submit application for approval; once approved by the nodal agency, begin training and after completion submit claims for reimbursement of ₹2,000/month per trainee.
