Scheme for Financial Assistance to GIDC for Developing Multi-storeyed Sheds in Saturated Estates for MSEs
You, as an enterprise in Gujarat, can benefit from this scheme run by the Industries & Mines Department, Government of Gujarat via GIDC. The scheme was introduced under the Gujarat Industrial Policy 2020 and is aimed at saturated industrial estates managed by GIDC where plot availability is limited. The purpose is to encourage efficient use of land by developing multi-storeyed industrial sheds for MSEs in the saturated estates. The benefit for your business: you get access to these ready-built multi-storeyed sheds in prime industrial estates, with financial assistance flowing via GIDC so the cost burden on you as the MSE is reduced.
Key Features
- Support for GIDC to develop multi-storeyed sheds – The scheme gives financial assistance to GIDC for the development of multi-storeyed sheds in saturated estates.
- High percentage of eligible expenditure assistance – The assistance to GIDC is fixed at 55% of total eligible expenditure incurred for development of multi-storeyed sheds for MSEs.
- GIDC to pass on assistance to allottees – The assistance given to GIDC is required to be passed on to the allottee at the time of allotment of the shed.
- Focus on saturated GIDC estates – The scheme is specifically for estates where plot land is saturated/limited, so GIDC uses vertical space to accommodate MSEs in these areas.
- Application through prescribed process & documentation – The scheme is listed under the state incentive schemes portal.
