Grant support to incubated ideas/units

Typically upto ~ ₹ 6.25 lakh per idea/unit matured under incubation. 

Example: You as an entrepreneur propose an innovative manufacturing process; the host institute incubates you; you receive a grant of ₹ 6 lakh under the scheme to develop the idea, business plan and prototype.

Infrastructure grant to incubator/host institute

Financial support to host institutes to set up incubator – e.g., up to ₹ 62.5 lakh per incubator as per central scheme. 

Example: A university in Gujarat establishes a business incubator costing ₹ 1 crore; the scheme may fund ~₹ 62.5 lakh, enabling better facilities and your access as entrepreneur.

Option 2: Government Online Application (via DC portal)

  1. The incubator applies under the scheme for recognition/assistance.
  2. The incubator then admits MSME start‐ups and supports them; entrepreneurs apply through the approved incubator.
  3. Submission of project document, incubation plan, cost estimates and entrepreneur or venture details.
  4. After selection, assist in mentoring, infrastructure support, and grant release.

Option 3: Through Partner Institution 

  1. Approach a recognised incubator in your region.
  2. Submit your innovative business idea, get admitted.
  3. The incubator handles application under the scheme; you receive mentoring and business support.
