Eligibility Criteria

To avail benefits under the Trademark Reimbursement Scheme:

• The applicant must be a startup certified by the Startup Promotion Cell (SPC).
• The startup must have a valid startup certificate issued by SPC.
• Bank accounts of directors must be linked to Aadhaar.
• Only expenses incurred after notification of the Goa Start-up Policy 2017 are eligible.
• Payments made digitally are preferred for reimbursement; if digital payment is not possible, the SPC may evaluate and approve based on due diligence.

3. Decision by SPC - The Startup Promotion Cell has the authority to approve or reject claims. The decision taken by SPC is final and binding.
4. Submission Timeline - Applications can be submitted any time during the financial year but within six months of incurring the expenditure.
5. Sanction and Disbursement - After approval, the sanction order is issued within 45 days, and the reimbursement amount is disbursed within 60 days from the date of approval.
