West Bengal Incentive Scheme - Waiver of Electricity Duty is a Government of West Bengal incentive implemented through the Department of Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises and Textiles, introduced under the Banglashree / WB Incentive framework, notified on 22 July 2020, and effective from 1 April 2020 to 31 March 2025.
The scheme aims to reduce the operational cost burden on MSMEs by providing waiver on electricity duty paid on power consumption. For you as an MSME, this incentive helps improve cash flow and profitability by lowering recurring electricity expenses.
