Detailed Explanation & Example

Certification & related costs

Loan support to cover expenses of ISO-9000 series certification (consultancy, documentation, audit, equipment, calibration)

Example: If your small manufacturing unit needs ₹2 lakh for ISO-9001 certification (consultancy ₹50k, audit ₹30k, calibration equipment ₹1.2 lakh) the scheme via RFC may provide loan covering this cost to facilitate your certification.

Repayment period

Up to 5 years including moratorium up to 1 year

Following the example: you may get 1 year moratorium  and then repay the loan over the next 4 years in equal / structured instalments.

Eligibility condition for unit

Must have been operating at least 2 years, profited or declared dividend last 2 years, no bank default

This ensures the unit is stable and credit-worthy; for example if your unit started in 2022 and has not yet completed two full fiscal years with profit, you may not qualify yet.
