Quality Certification Reimbursement Scheme
The Quality Certification Reimbursement Scheme, 2018 is implemented by the Department of Information Technology, Government of Goa under the Goa Information Technology Policy and Roadmap – 2018. The scheme came into force from the date of notification in the official Gazette and remains valid for five years from the notification date. Its objective is to encourage IT units in Goa to obtain internationally recognised quality certifications and improve their operational standards.
The scheme aims to strengthen the competitiveness and credibility of IT enterprises by reimbursing expenses incurred in obtaining recognised quality and product certifications. By supporting certifications such as ISO, HACCP, BIS, WHO-GMP, ZED, COPC, and other recognised standards, the Government of Goa promotes quality assurance and helps IT units enhance their reputation in domestic and global markets. Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for benefits under the scheme, the applicant must meet the following conditions:
- The unit must operate within the State of Goa.
- Both new and existing IT units are eligible.
- The applicant must be one of the following entity types:
- Proprietorship firm
- Private limited company
- Public limited company
- Registered partnership firm
- Limited Liability Partnership (LLP) - The bank accounts of the unit and its partners/directors must be linked to Aadhaar.
- The unit must produce Udyog Aadhaar / Udyam registration.
- Certification must be obtained from recognised certification authorities.
- Units receiving similar incentives under other Government of Goa policies are not eligible for the same benefit under this scheme.
- Benefits are subject to budget availability under the policy.

Online Process
