Reimbursement of apprenticeship stipend

Unit eligible for reimbursement of stipend paid to trainees under state apprenticeship scheme

Example: Your electronics manufacturing unit in Uttar Pradesh hires 100 apprentices at ₹ 10,000/month stipend each for 12 months (total stipend ₹ 1.2 crore). You may claim reimbursement of the stipend for those apprentices as per state scheme norms under this policy incentive.

Option 2: Government Process via Nodal Agency

  1. Identify the unit as an eligible ESDM unit in Uttar Pradesh under UP-EMMP 2020.
  2. Approach the nominated Nodal Agency under the Department of IT & Electronics, Govt. of Uttar Pradesh.
  3. Submit an application for reimbursement of the stipend (for apprenticeship training) along with proof of training, number of apprentices, duration, etc., as per policy.
  4. Provide documentary evidence of alignment with UP Skill Development Mission, training plan, and linkages with skill by electronics industry.
  5. After scrutiny and approval by the Policy Implementation Unit (PIU) and Empowered Committee (if required), reimbursement is processed.
  6. Units should follow the terms of the policy, monitor progress and ensure continued compliance for the benefits to be disbursed.

Option 3: Direct Online Portal (if available)

Check the official UP-Electronics Manufacturing Policy portal for online submission of incentives and training-related assistance. Provide details of business, training schedule, apprentices, stipend cost, and alignment certificate with skill mission. Monitor application status online.
