Detailed Explanation 

Bank loan up to ₹ 10 lakh

Up to ₹ 10 lakh term‐loan for eligible unit

Example: You plan to set up a rural manufacturing unit costing ₹ 10 lakh. Under MMGRY you may be eligible for a bank loan up to ₹ 10 lakh.

Applicant’s contribution (margin)

General category ~10% own contribution; Reserved categories ~5%

Example: If project cost is ₹ 10 lakh: General category brings ₹ 1 lakh; Reserved category brings ₹ 0.5 lakh.

Interest subsidy / interest relief

For general category: borrow at bank rate but you bear only ~4% interest; for reserved categories: interest fully subsidised (0%) for specified period

Example: You take a loan of ₹ 8 lakh at bank rate interest ~12%. Under scheme you pay only 4% (≈₹ 32,000/year) for a certain period; if you are in reserved category you may pay zero interest for that period.

Application Process for the Scheme

Option 1: Apply with Bullit (Recommended)

Option 2: Direct Application via Official Portal / Nodal Agency

  1. Visit the official website of the Uttar Pradesh Khadi & Village Industries Board (UPKVIB) or district Gramodyog office. 
  2. Register as an applicant, fill in the scheme-application form detailing project cost, business plan, personal/technical credentials.
  3. Submit required documents, bank loan proof, and self-contribution evidence.
  4. Selection committee (at district level) reviews applications, refers to bank for loan sanction.
  5. On bank sanction and documentation, disbursement and interest-subsidy process begins.

Option 3: Through District Industries / Gramodyog Office

  1. Visit your district’s Gramodyog/Khadi board office for counselling and application assistance.
  2. Prepare project cost details, technical training certificate, bank loan application.
  3. Submit to selection committee via the district office; follow up till sanction and disbursement.
